Dr. Prasad Bhukebag is a highly regarded Senior Consultant specializing in Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal, Robotic, Bariatric, and General Surgery, with over 18 years of comprehensive experience. He earned his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (Belgaum) and pursued a Masters in General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Bhukebag completed his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, under the esteemed guidance of Prof PK Chowbey.
Dr. Bhukebag's professional portfolio boasts over 5000 surgeries performed to date, alongside multiple publications in international journals. Notably, he has authored a chapter in the "Textbook of Laparoscopic, Endoscopic & Robotic Surgery" and co-authored a chapter on Bariatric and Metabolic surgery in the textbook "Laparoscopic Surgery" published by Intech Open.
Dr. Bhukebag is a dedicated life member of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and the Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS). His special interests encompass Robotic, Minimal Access, and Hernia & Abdominal Wall Reconstruction (AWR) Surgery.
